In case some of you are getting burned out on playing Vanilla COOP and you happened to have the S.F. Xpack installed. You may want to try our mod at Blackopsmercenaries.us
The mod is a small 120 megs and we have dozens of custom maps.
The main difference between vanilla and our coop mod is that everthing that bugs you about playing against bots in Vanilla mode has been either removed or revamped to allow more fun and challenges against bots.
1.) All weapons and tools have been un-nerfed
2.) All smoke and flashbangs have been removed and replaced with other tools or weapons (bots are not affected by those so why have them?)
3.) All weapons have been unlocked (and un-nerfed)
4.) New custom weapons have been added
5.) New custom vehicles have been added
6.) New custom maps have been created with the intent of removing anything that impacts play agains bots (no dense foliage!)
7.) The AI in the mod and maps has been dramatically improved to allow behaviours that EA said could not be done! (jumping off buildings and others)
8.) All existing SF and plain maps have been intentsively renav meshed, tweaked and modified to improve game play against bots.
9.) We also run a complete stats and awards ranking package that allows you to accumulated points, ranks and medals similar to EA's.
We run the 1.4 patch and have made this platform extremely stable.
