Battlefield 2: Australian Forces 0.3 has been officially renamed to version 1.0, a milestone which reflects the amount of time and effort our small team have put into this modification.

Consisting of a core team of only four developers for the majority of the last year and a half, we have dedicated hundreds, if not thousands of hours of our spare time into creating Australian Forces. We don't get paid to make mods, we give-up the free time we could be spending with family and friends, developing content until 2AM every night, working through public holidays... why? We don't do this for fame or fortune, we do this in the hope that others can get some enjoyment from playing the mod we have had so much fun developing. Undeniably it has been a very trying path to walk, but on January 26th we hope to get a chance to share the mod with the wider community. Once the mod is in your hands, it is up to the community to use it, or lose it.

January 26th, 2007 will be Australia's Day!
