Unreal Tournament 3 mod | Coming 2009
The mod will feature some interesting gameplay ideas :
- When the player moves, he feels the weight of his body, he does not slip on the floor. (Crysis / Riddick EFFB / Darkness feeling).
- When you encounter an obstacle or a “system”, you can use this button to jump over the object, grab a railing and lift you up, open a door, fuse / weld a door, hack a security panel...
- There are four player classes : Marine, Support, Tech, Smartgunner.
- Weapons : M42a, Shotgun, Handgun, Smartgun, Flamethrower, Mines : proximity / laser, Grenades, Motion Sensor
- Some events in the game will trigger a hand-to-hand sequence, Quick Time Events if you prefer...

Actually, i need to release it as soon as i can. To have a free mind when Alien : Colonial Marines comes out and especially, to be even more focused on Beyond The Red Line. I worked on two maps, which are not finished at all... and i need to find more time to tweak some stuffs about weapons and powers animations. I'll post some new pictures on the website this week.
About Xen, I mostly worked on the scenario, which is pretty finished actually. And the final part of the gameplay and gamedesign details.
So, again, don't worry, we're still here... waiting in the dark for that Gearbox game.

holy shit i did'nt know about this...awsome DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE.
There is an issue about that... actually i search a lot about mod cooking on UT3 for consoles, and it seems that the hardware can't handle total conversion of the game.
We'll see in the next patches, but i think that the mod won't be released for any consoles. Sorry :/

We just discussed that on BeyondUnreal, everybody agree that for now, there is not TC support, and surely the TC support would be available only for PC first.
Wich consoles are u planing to release the mod to??? just PC or PS3 and X360 aswell???
absolutely zero chance of any mod coming to the 360 unfortunately.
