So I've been hard at work this week on a Shader World spin off project called Grain War. The game is inside the Shader World Universe and will have gameplay like the child of Link to the Past and Risk of Rain. Today I finally finished all the animations for running, dodging, standing, and attacking for the player. I also finished the standiing and running animations for the first enemy in all four directions.
Needless to say I learned quite a bit about animation. I've never been a pro but I'm happy with the way these turned out. I really like the dodge animation for dodging right.

Looks great, animation feels very natural and fluid, style reminds me of Risk of Rain. :)
It's inspired by both Risk of Rain and Hyper Light Drifter.
