I suppose the only thing that I can say is the reason for why I joined the Desura community.
It was because I have aspirations of developing my own games and making them available on this site; though I will always have a mantra of anything I do will have a demo of it; as the amount of times I have wanted to play a game and there hasn't been a free version of it or a demo for me to try.
I want to try and make money from my games yes, and as I am still in university then making money would be a great help to me; but I want to make good interesting and fun games more so I will always attempt to do so. If you think I have't made a good game or think I did something wrong then please tell me, as that's how you learn.
Also I should probably also state that if I plan on implementing DLC in any of the games that I produce then it will be DLC. It won't be already stored in the game and then accessed later with the use of a serial key or anything; there will be a section of code which will allow for new content to be introduced to the game and then used by the game. Anything you download as DLC for my games will be as such.
Well all I can say is thanks for looking at my blog and profile page and I hope I don't disappoint!
Welcome! Your entire blog post could have been written by me^^. I like your mantra concerning demos; I wish more developers would incorporate it, and give up on the on-game-DLC instead.
Good luck developing your games!
