Ever since the beginning, Cold Shift has been through some hard times. As you may of heard, I am no longer going to be the mapper for Cold Shift and I will be focusing my attention towards other HL-related projects. Of course, I still hope to contribute in some way to CS.

First up, I have had an idea for quite a while now about a HL1 Deathmatch map-pack. I have already had ideas and even full designs for some of these maps for a while now e.g: "dm_graves" A map set in a graveyard full of hills and underground paths and "dm_n64" which is pretty self-explanatory. I want about 4-6 maps in this collection but we shall see how things turn out.

Next, a mod for either Hl1 or HL2 (I've heard Source mapping is quite difficult so it'll likely be a HL1 mod). I won't spoil anything major about the story yet but I will say this: It takes place in an alternate timeline after HL1. This mod will probably be released 2018/19 since I want to practise mapping more and get the aforementioned DM map-pack out of the way.

Also, I might release a Doom 2 mod one day, mapping for the Doom games is really fun and easier compared to GoldSource mapping and I've just in the past few days remembered how fun it was mapping for that game.
