You know its funny, out of all the places I've been on the internet I still find myself coming back here once or twice a year. Especially when I'm at work or doing some menial triviality, and a random flood of memories of this place come rushing back. Then I find myself logging a visit to this place to see what is new and which old timers are still around.

I just want to say how much I love this place, and the people that I met here over the years. This place along with the people, (even those whom I disagreed with) brought me a lot of peace and tranquility through my teen years which was a pretty turbulent time for me. I am extremely grateful for that safe harbor and place to vent that this place provided when I needed it.

I came for the Half-Life mods, and stayed for the people.

YES !! YES! AND YES! EVEN AFTER YEARS PASS, even the good old Egi-RaZoRZ has GOT, to come back to life‼ The famous snark with the Santa hat xD (oh remember the squirrel XD)

I LIVE!!!!! AGAIN!!!

True dat bro, I came for some Mirror's Edge bullcr@p, and I'll come back for more Half-Life still (once I hack my Steam correctly like it used to be LOL... IF I pull it off!)
(.... because I've been hacked in 2017 and deleted my Steam folder, silly xD)

MODDB has been a safe haven for me too. I nearly forgot all about it now, but hey, good memories do come back pretty quick. Not as quick as bad ones, yes, but heh... at least, I remember something.. You, SOAD, the failed attempt at MODding and my subsequent trip to Kyrgyzstan to see my family, ultimately breaking all the ties with you awesome ppl. :'(

You could still see glimpses of me at Personal Half-Quake (WE LOVE MUDDASHEEP!), on Facebook { Mental Egi }, and just now on OnlyFans! (No, not a blogger, just a client LOL) Still trying to fix my emotional life issues after all these yeeears and hey, I just got rid of a 15-year long depression 3 days ago just by sexting with a girl. Had I known there were such alternatives, I'd have done it LOOONG ago! MY brain just bit the bullet and now I'm left with only physical pain, but the depression is permanently GONE BABY. FINALLY. After 15 years. It's been a very difficult time for me, too. I'm just glad I'm fetching back my senses and all, and coming back to the roots again.
Back to the basics. And that's what counts - really counts - does it? no? No?

«I am sure you can imagine there are worse alternatives ...» - G-Man, basically telling Adrian Shephard to go f*kk himself while in stasis ...for all of eternity of his Half-Life.
PARADOX! Ha-ha ;) I'll be 33 next year. We're young at heart, BROTHERS! (/sisters?!!)

But yes. I can imagine there are worse alternatives... far worse... indeed... - hmm...
*clears throat*

Watch a movie called «Jacob's Ladder»: Truly a masterpiece of not only cinematography, but also a biblical piece of advice from a good friend - a pretty scary one at that :p

«Quite so.»

PS: Shephard, in stasis @ 22 years old? Shiit. He's just a kid, such a Desolation for him. Literally ... desolation - Just the right word.
**sigh**

I can sure relate.

*runs away again, this time waving his arms like a crazy mofo*

« RAYNES(r): I hope you can hear this... I've managed to tune one of the Nightcrawler radios to our frequency, and it should transmit underground.
Unfortunately, it didn't come with a decoder ring, so no eavesdropping.

RAYNES(r): These guys really know how to cover their tracks. I'm getting next to nothing on them. I did manage to get some schematics of the cloning facility though.

RAYNES(r): They built this thing underneath an abandoned mine. Carved it out of solid rock. Must have taken years. »

Remember the Good Years, my fellow friends! Now it's so much as a pavement yard , of broken dreams!
