Reaper 6:
I've been working on my retro-style shooter, Reaper 6, for a few months now, and it's coming along nicely. There's only 2 levels finished but most of the games vital systems are implemented, such as earning money, buying upgrades, and the in game dialog system. Now it's all about making new enemies, mini-bosses, and the Generals.
I was able to get a few of my friends to play the game on my TV with a SNES controller and they thought it was a lot of fun. Hopefully next time their over I can get at least one campaign (each General will have 5 levels before you can fight him, thus completing one campaign) finished. A few more upgrades will make it more exciting too.
The only gripes I have right now are the sound and art. I've gotten some decent music and sound effects but I need to work on balancing them out so that the audio environment feels more natural. Right now I think the music is too loud and certain sound effects are overly aggressive. The artwork is getting better day by day, I'm still not totally in love with it but I'll keep at it.

In business news I really need to make a web site. I just don't have the motivation to do so yet because I have nothing to really offer on it. All the social media sites are fine for now.
