I am a writer trying to get into the gaming business. I would like to write as well as give creative direction for a game or mod. I used to play those old Classics MUDs and even admin for one doing building, making mobs and areas for a while. I have been breaking into 3d modelling and animation working with a couple programs over the past couple of months. I did sculpture for several years in highschool working with shapes and geometry so modelling came very easily using a simple program called Anim8or. After of which I took it a step further and applied myself to learning maya more and that is the stage I am currently at. I have also written and published two titles "where the angels lost their way" and 'the gift of sin." I'm going to practice and post up my models or 3d graphics images from time to time please let me know if you would like to download any models or basis models for images.

ok haven't had a lot of time today, been writing. Met someone who is in college for game design and has no experience so writing a different version of my combat system for a webplayer based game I have named Age of Wizards: Planar Cleansing. I was listening to a Dethklok song and one of the lyrics was "in the age of wizards" so I came up with a game around that idea. Basically you can pick one of a few characters, and each character can access 1-3 spell groups. Each spell group has 10 spells in it. Now the characters can only choose 2 groups to pick spells from even if there are 3 groups they can choose. Secondly, after they choose their 2 groups they can only choose 10 spells to mix and match. the story is you're fighting other wizards in a battle for an artifact that will grant you dominion for 100 years over all wizards making you like the wizard king or some shit. that's the basic principles and what not, still writing.
