Gaming, Modding and Computing Stuff.

I managed to play a few co-operative missions of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 with one of my friends. It was hilarious, because he had forgotten all of the keys. There were a few incidents where he accidentally threw a grenade at a wall or at his feet. Run!!!

General Stuff.
It's been quite a slow week, the work is still there but, it seems less urgent.

I've uploaded the work in progress shots of the 2 ships I'm working on, not to mention the on going adjustments and fixes to the Sabre - Class Battlecruiser. I apologise if these shots make the ships look crappy, but as I have said, there is still a long way to go before completion. There is still much to do: hull detailing, addition of weaponry, the bridge and hangars and adding colours.

Secondly, I've bought Sanctuary Season 1 on DVD. Have watched the first few episodes. So far so good. It's truly amazing what can be done with green screen, sometimes you forget that they are on a virtual set or that there is a visual effect in the shot. Kudos to the actors and crew of Sanctuary.

Finally, has anyone wondered why things always seem to go wrong at the worst possible time? (Refer to quote of the blog.) Because it appears to happen to me when group assignments are due.

Experiencing crazy weather. Busy. Talk later.

Good Gaming and Good Modding.

I will defy your laws, Murphy! :P

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is a first person shooter in a long line of tactical shooters from the Rainbow Six series first created by Tom Clancy. Quite a good game (good book too), but I think that it has lost some of the tactical aspects which made it different, such as strategic planning.

I checked it out, it looks quite good, actually. But it's "too" good, I fear my computer won't be able to handle it... stupid laptop...

Haha. Time for an upgrade? It shouldn't be too hard to run on lower settings though.

And it's no use, I barely can run the ut2004 en mid settings, and Mount&Blade on directx 7...

Even on my comp, RSV2 lags a little bit. It requires some extreme power.

True, especially with all of the effects turned up to the max on a high resolution.

Makes my graphics card get quite hot.
