Gaming, Modding and Computing Stuff.

So, E3 2009 is over and there have been some interesting announcements and developments, ranging from Sony's new PSP to Microsoft's Project Natal. However, I'm more interested in the PC gaming side of things, and here are a handful of titles that I will be looking out for: Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, Supreme Commander 2, Homefront, Modern Warfare 2, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and maybe some other ones. As you can see, they are mostly FPS games with SupCom2 being the sole RTS.

They all look great, but I'm going to be a little cautious about Supreme Commander 2; some units in the trailer look like they had deviated from the style established in Supreme Commander (i.e. that huge dinosaur looking Cybran thing). I will certainly be getting Dragon Rising, the previews that I've read so far are positive about the game. I'll going to wait on the other games, one game that was not at E3 was the next Ghost Recon; hopefully its as good or even better than the already great GRAW and GRAW2.

Closer to home, I've gone out and bought a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series Sound Card, that was a mouthful. Anyway, it's great, EAX enabled games sound so good and movies and music is improved. There's detail and nuances that I've just noticed in some pieces of music that I've never noticed before on my previous (integrated) sound card.

General Stuff.
I've just been told by the 6 o'clock news that the state that I live in the the worst in the world for swine flu, in terms of cases per capita. I'm don't care anymore, in fact 99% of people aren't even wearing masks or staring at people who cough. The whole thing is just another ploy by the media to gain attention.

What else can I say? Exams, exams, exams. That's right folks, four 3-hour exams...okay, it's not that bad, but it's guaranteed to be tough. Must study hard! There is not much room for anything else, which reminds me, got to go!

Studying, may be gone for a while. Talk later.

Good Gaming and Good Modding.
