Hello, I am a huge fan of Science Fiction, mainly star wars, star trek, battlestar galactica, Babylon 5 and stargate. I have only been a member here for a short time, and I have already played hundreds of awesome mods. I would like to hear any opinions on current events, or anything random. The community here is great, and I am glad to be a part of it, even if all the Battlestar Galactica mods have gone the way of the Dodo... :( Anyways, besides that, this is a great mod site, and I look forward to seeing what kind of mods there will be in the future, since mods are inching ever so closer to being exactly like commercial games. I am in college, studying business and programming, and I keep the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade Project Mod page up-to-date. Thanks for visiting my profile, and have a great day :)

Report RSS Mod-launches are pretty tense.

I have been a huge fan of lord of the rings-themed mods since I tried the Third Age Total War for medieval total war 2: kingdoms expansion, and the new The Last Days mod looks absalutely stunning. I played the release for the older build of mount and blade, and there is nothing more fun than building your army of young gondorian warriors, and training them in the field of battle against hundreds of orcs. The only bad thing about this release was the lack of ragdoll physics/fully constructed mega-cities (helms-deep, Minis tirith). This upcoming release, however, is a culmination of five years of work, and although I have only just became aware of this mod six months ago, I am extremely excited to see It's release. I will write about how awesome it is when It launches, october 31st. If you have M&B and like lord of the rings, try it. From my hands-on time with the game, i can honestly say it was better than any commercial lord of the rings game, and that was just the alpha version.
