Hey! Many people know me as MintRanger, but here on Desura I'm Ranger69. On January 16, 2011, I made an account on Combat Arms and then made a YouTube channel on February 1, 2011. From then to September of 2012, I made Combat Arms videos that totaled 60- one of which exceeded an impressive 50,000 views. With over 400 contacts (125 being subscribers), I was going to resume making videos on August 1, 2013. Well on July 28, 2013, my YouTube account ended up getting deleted. The story- I signed in on my YouTube account and I was automatically connected to Google+. I never liked Google+ but I decided I might as well give it a try. After customizing my G+ account, I decided I just didn't want it. So I go to delete my G+, and when I return to my YouTube channel, it is gone. So I've made a brand new YouTube channel (and G+) on August 1, 2013. Although it is sad that the 60 original MintRanger videos are lost in the oblivion of the interwebs, you now know the legacy.

So I see you find yourself on my blog. Now that you're reading this, I'd like you to help me out if you can. If you are unfamiliar with Desura (or PC gaming in general), then stop reading because the rest of this will be a waste of time for you. If you shouldn't be reading right now, then I admire your admiration for this composition. Anyhow, if you think you can be of any help, then I'd like you to let me know of good, free games you have either played on Desura or downloaded from the interwebs. This especially applies to gamers in the horror genre's scene.

The only games that come to mind are Cry of Fear, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and Lone Survivor.

well yeah but amnesia isn't free (i may end up purchasing it though). i've heard of cry of fear, but i have to look into it as well as lone survivor. thanks!
