Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) describe his walking as follows:
“I have never seen anyone resembling him - either before him or after him. He
would not drag his feet while walking; his steps were vivid and long; also he
would bend down as if climbing down a hill.”
Again, Yazid Ibn Al-Marsad (May Allah be pleased with him) said this:
“When our
Prophet walked, he walked fast and vividly. Although those that walked after him
were forced to run, they failed to catch up with him."
