God i hate Vista. Everytime you want to upload or download a file it always gives you the folder you don't want. And when you want that folder, it gives you the one you wanted before. God it is annoying. Another bad thing is that you can't password protect folders + files, only profiles. And it is also VERY slow. XP was much better in most ways. Who else thinks vista is lame and why?

I have a theory about Microsoft: they suck at making new operating systems.
Look at Windows 2000 (version 5), it was OK. But when XP (version 5.1) came out, it was a huge improvement.
Vista (version 6) was a waste of time, but Windows 7 (version 6.1) is looking much, much better.
Do you see the pattern?

Also they probably make all the computers wrong intentionally. So when the computer goes wrong. We pay them to fix it. So they get more income.

It's system is ultra super ghey. the OS itself takes up a hell lot of GB. Many programmes also don't run/run smoothly on Vista. especially my CnC RA2 and my tiberium sun. Vista also is too protective, whenever i have to run an installation programme, it keep saying "Windows need your permission to run this programme" ITS JUST THAT ANNOYING!!!
Yeah i agree. Also i got an serious error both installing and playing RA2 yuris revenge and tiberium sun. DOn't know why though. Anyway to get it to work i had to run the game + the setup as an admin. Even though my account is an admin. :D
You could just turn UAC off.
Windows Xp Service Pack 3! Screw Vista. Complete waste of money, time, HDD space. And is guaranteed to have you throwing your computer outta the window.

My friend instaled vista and now his printer doesn't work and I heard that Microsoft maybe won't give W7 a game support. Instead they would give a discount for a Xbox, so you'll have to play games on the Xbox. It's just a possibility.
No way man, how can they not have DirectX on Windows 7. PC gamers are a huge market for them, it would be suicidal for them to disable what you call "game support".
I'm using Windows 7 Beta (soon to be RC1) and all of my games work fine.
Yeah most of their income would be from gamers. :D
