Desura, was supposed to be for indies to release there games, Kinda like Steam for us little guys right? Well my game was classified as a 'kit' game, And they dont allow those on the site. So what if i cant code, so what if i cant make a so called proper indie game. I want it for free on Desura, i want to use the cool features. But im not allowed to. I think we protest and get them to change there policies. All indie games deserve there 15 minutes in the light. Even if made with a 'kit' Cuz hey. Source sdk. is a kit. UDK is a kit. But I think it was identified as a kit game because you used the textures/art that came with the game, try and get some more 3rd party stuff :)
Yeah but should we have to compromise our visions just to get them on the damn thing? I dont think thats fair to us little guys WHICH IS WHAT THE DAMN THING WAS MADE FOR! lol. Its a case of false advertising in a way STEAM FOR THE LITTLE GUYS GET IT WHEN IT COMES OUT we all get it, and hey its not steam for the little guys its a way for the big guys to charge for **** that should be free :)
