I've spent years in the games industry and worked on several major titles (Little Big Planet, Black & White, Shadowman, Crime Killer) as well as some less well known titles. Lately I've concentrated more on AI games programming and have built up a collection of interesting tech. I've decided to try going it alone as an independent developer; linking up with others to create small, fun gaming experiences with some clever AI under the hood.

Space Hippies is an intense retro arcarde shoot-em-up with a pyscedelic theme. There are seven levels of frenzied action. Controls are available for both right and left-handed players.

I hope you enjoy it.

Lately, I've been learning to program for iOS and have 90% converted my 2D game rendering engine. I have already converted the game code into 'Objective C' for both Solo Hero & Space Hippies. After finishing the rendering code I will also need to implement audio and touch controls although, from past experience, this will be trivial in comparison to rendering.

I've also got three original games in various stages of development. I don't want to say too much as yet except that they are chess, retro platform adventure and target shooting. All should be out on Android and iOS by the end of 2015. I'm considering a 3d version of Solo Hero with minecraftian block graphics; to this end I recently dug out an engine demo which I will use. I've added a video called 'RobbitWorld" to the gallery which shows my 3D engine on PC.

Busy, busy, busy

P.s My aim is to produce simple yet compelling fun games. I appreciate any feedback you can give me. So please let me know what you think to Solo Hero & Space Hippies. Thanks MJF
