lately I'v been playing a lot of differint games first start with skyrim great game should be game of the year!
then I started to look around on moddb for some good strategies but couldn't find some
Since strategy is my favorite since little kid I almost played every game there was about romans, knights, and sometimes a colonial game but since I almost played any strategy game I would like to ask does anybody know a good strategy from lately not a old game but from last years and so on.
I prefer strategies where you have a big country and try to conquer the world like europa universallis and al thos risk games. I would lika an 'earth' conquering game but europe will be good too.
hope someone of you makes a good suggestion!

and a lot more can't come up now.
the real time strategy like battle for middle earth and all those games you can pass I'm a little bit tired of them. I'm more a turn-based player.

Maybe a good zombie shooter where you have a little community and such like those flash games is cool too!

But, the only difference is, I'm still a kid.
Total War games?
Then try both (for Rome Total War: Alexander) Lord of the Rings: Total War and Third Age Total War (Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms)
Pretty old game, you should try Age of Empires.
BFME does have turn based modes. In BFME 1, you play the Fellowship, and keep on going ALL the way to the Black Gate.
In BFME 2 and RotWK There's something called War of the Ring, conquer Middle Earth, or with the Edain mod, play historical scenarios, like Rohan and Isengard, or Gondor and Mordor, or Men of the West and Mordor.
Or in RJ mod, you can play it through a whole new level.
C&C 3 Kane's Wrath, expansion pack, once had it, but lost it. Has 9 factions, 3 GDI, 3 NOD, and 3 Scrin. It's great! They have somekind of thing where you conquer and play through the entire world. I remember now, Global Conquest.
C&C Red Alert? Any C&C game is GREAT, especially with mod, EXCEPT FOR THAT FAILURE PIECE OF CRAP EA CALLS A GAME, CNC 4!
Star Wars: Empire at War, yeah maybe your not a SW fan, but this'll do. You can control all planets throughout the Galaxy, as Rebels or the Empire.
