Report RSS New Tutorial: Importing Custom Models Into Half-Life 2

Posted by on

It's been a long time since I've actually used this web site for much of anything... ever since Subsist died I haven't really been in the "modding" mood. Considering this was over a year ago I think it's finally time for me to get back into the swing of things, and what better way to do so than to release a new tutorial! The new tutorial will teach you how to import custom models from 3D Studio Max 9 into Half-Life 2 as static props. It's a bit lengthy, but pretty simple to follow... so if you just keep trucking on through it I'm sure it will prove to be useful. I'm planning on re-writing my tutorial on blend textures and expanding it to include importing generic textures as well. That should be up within the next week or two, the end of the semester is almost here and I still have a decent amount of work to do, but once that's done I promise it will be up.
