A gamer, plain and simple. Both hardcore and casual, console and PC. A love for PC gaming because of its mod community has brought me here. Hello.

EA is such a greedy company.

Not that it even needs to be said. A free-to-play MMOTPS that once mocked other MMOs for rewarding grinding had taken a turn for the worst. With the new payment system, weapons and other gear Valor Point (free currency in-game) prices have skyrocketed, and the time limit of renting them after purchase has been shortened greatly. That is, unless you pay using Battlefunds, which are paid for. Now for those that play for the free-ness of it are screwed over because they don't want to/can't pay for better gear to keep up with competition, and must grind so much just to keep a weapon for a few days, as opposed to for a month.

Now back when the game was in its beta stages, I participated and loved it. The currency system rewarded you and the in-game store had very fair prices, making it a relaxing experience. Now the game requires you to either play hardcore non-stop to get good items for days, bust out your wallet, or bust.

That was back then. I respected it for being a well-made MMOTPS with great gameplay, but now, Battlefield Heroes is dead to me.

I agree.

I personally don't like the idea about game requiring micropayments.

I want that game is:

a) Free
b) I pay once
c) I pay once, maybe for another time for good dlc.
