All of these are what I would want for the quintessential Star Wars shooter.
- Realistic damage/physics - An unarmored Rebel soldier should NOT be able to withstand multiple laser blasts from a Stormtrooper and look unaffected. If increasing the damage seems like it would make the game too hard, add an animation or something to add a bit more immersion or whatever. And grenade knockback.
- Prone... Nuff said
- Better AI tactics such as cover and grenade usage and maybe squadrons of fighters coming down to cause mayhem
- Teamwork - Before each match, players should all be divided into squads (4-5 people), and a single player is assigned squad leader. Then allow for the ability to actually speak with your teammates!!!
- MORE PLANETS!!!!
- Better game modes - Let's be honest, a lot of EA's Battlefront game modes are a bit redundant. I'm just gonna list some ideas of what works.
- Supremacy is decent, but I'd prefer good ol' fashioned Star Wars Battlefront styled Conquest mode.
- Walker Assault is great, that can stay
- DM and TDM are preferred in any shooter
- Hero vs Villains and Hero Hunt are good
- Skirmish is much appreciated, good on EA to listen to their fans
- Survival is okay, but needs a bit of improvement to add a better sense that you're in danger
- Extraction and sabotage isn't bad
- Here are some ideas of my own:
- Training mode - All Stormtroopers need to start somewhere. Should come with a skin and map exclusive to that mode. A training outfit and that simulation room you always hear about and maybe a shooting range because we all know they need it.
- Raid - Defensive team is confined to a base area and attacking team starts outside and tries to come in. Objective is to take out all the opposing teams reinforcements. Either side can be both offensive or defensive.
- Hunt - Just bring back the original game mode
That's all guys, I'll stop here before this becomes a novel to read. Tell me what you think down below. Later!
