Hi I am Brian Hammond. Unlike most of you here it seems, I didn't make any games when I was a kid! In fact I only fired up a computer to program for the first time when I was about 20. I ended up going all the way through grad school for computer science and did some fun projects with computer vision and robotics. I have always loved games but I get bored with most VERY easily. I love ambient music and computer graphics so Proteus is in my view the perfect little experience. I did a lot of boring work at places like IBM and Yahoo! and now am doing iOS work full-time for myself. I made "Darts" in 2008 which surprisingly went to #1 on the free charts that December. That got me enough exposure to make apps for clients and now finally I am trying to make more games for myself. I have about a dozen animation books on my desk gathering dust. Someday I hope to become an animator in addition to developer.
