Average disciple by day - Roller disco champion by night... In other words: I'm just a gamer-guy in my early twenties doin computer science both private and job-related. But I'm not speaking about myself. WE are a team of three good friends each with different computer literacy currently working on a Shoot'em up game for PC. The goal of our work will be an action packed Shoot'n'Run based on the model of classic side scrollers like Abuse. Even though the main focus will be the fast close combats a la Metal Slug, we don't wanna save on story and atmosphere. Currently I do game design and programming. One of ma friends, who trains as game designer at games academy here in berlin, is our artist and does the level design. Last mate helps us with sound design and every now and then comes up with sum good ideas. Only part missing is a game composer, 'cause we know s**t about making music.

Just a first impression of our foot soldier design so you guys can imagine the style our game will get. We made a conscious decision for that design and i dont think we want more richness of detail. Like many other run'n'guns and side scrollers, we plan a higher degree of detail for the level design and atmosphere. FOR NOW we believe that pixel-art is the best way for our project, detailed enough to recognize each character and animation but to detailed to lose that pixel charm.
