My name is Chris! I come from the land of snow and losing sports teams, that's right Buffalo,NY. I've been working on game related projects off and on over the last 12-13 years. During that time I have dabbled in: Level Design,3D Modeling, snapping pictures of random things in the real world to turn into textures and anything game related that jumps out at me. I enjoy Tim Hortons Coffee as it fuels me up for long hours of game design/development. Some of my favorite Genre's are: Sci-Fi:Anything space related catches my attention. Suvival Horror: Gotta love Resident Evil series! FPS:Half-life was the first game I ever made a room AKA a box! Strategy:AOE,StarCraft(Who knows how much money blizzard made after my cd-rom shredded 2-3 copies of my SC:BW) MMORPG:Ultima Online was my obsession once(Stupid T.N.L.= Trammel Newbie Looters) I am currently working on my game Crazy GoldRush:Dredging by myself which at times can feel like a lot of work. Don't get me wrong I love it!

Hey everyone!

So I feel stuck between two worlds. 2D Sprites VS 3D Sprites.

I spent most my weekend working on 3D models to turn into 2D sprites. Currently I am not 100% committed to my 2D Sprites because I am quite unsure about what my audience would prefer?
It's even harder to answer because I don't even know my audience yet.

So I am asking everyone who reads this PLEASE leave a comment about which you would prefer.

For now until I have valid feedback I am going to remain making 2D Sprites. I really enjoy 3D modeling, but as a one man team, I'm stretched pretty thin already.

It's not that I'll never use 3D Models, but I think I'll save them for a 3D model update when:
A) My audience requests it
B)Single-player is complete and I have time and resources to update ALL graphics to 3D Sprites.

But enough with that nonsense, I also completed the first dredge upgrade sprite today.

As you can see each dredge upgrade will feature a whole new dredge to play as!
Which means bigger gold gains and also more to worry about! As upgrades increase so does the equipment to run your dredge.

So consider the first dredge a newbie starter dredge, no maintenance but low gold gain(comparably).

I won't go too much further into detail after my last blog post about future updates, but every dredge will have Pro's(EX:High gain, Bigger, More professional looking) and Con's(EX:More cost to operate)

In other news I am also looking for someone good at making Logo's/Banners if you are looking to test your skills or just contribute your work for the fun of it shoot me a message here/FB/Twitter or whichever way is easier for you.

Down the road I am also going to need some help with some sound effects and ambient noises so if you know anyone or you are that person same thing goes for you!

So I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend. I know that I had a busy holiday!
Thanks again for reading!
