Report RSS First Impressions of Survive The Nights

Posted by on

Well, it's 3 AM in the morning, on a new website and bored out of my mind. What should I do? Oh, I know. Let me give my first impression of the game survive the nights, and if there's one thing i'm good at it's talking shit about stuff I know nothing about. Let's get started shall we.

Well this game as I can see from the trailer seems to have a mixture pros and cons in the game, let's start with the pros first.

PROS
1. The games seems to not make you out to be some beefy asshole who can carry a fucking forest over his should and then in the future bash the zombies fucking brains out with the 8,000 pieces of wood he just collected. No what I saw was that you had to grab the logs off the fence, put them into a wheelbarrow and then push the wheelbarrow with the planks in them over to the window and then place it.

2. When you shoot zombies come after you. In a game like Left 4 Dead,Which I love, you can fire hundreds of rounds into the air and still seem to be able not to summon a horde but if you touch a car and the alarm goes off, all hell breaks lose. In this if you fire a bullet zombies start rushing out of the building and to the nearest meat scent there is.

3. The way electricity can work. So in the game you can actually power a house it looks like with a generator and make it light. Out of all the survival-horror games I have seen I never really see this.

CONS
1. The AI can be incredibly stupid at times. If you watch the first trailer. One of the zombies was just staring at a wall and didn't even notice the player until he turned on his flashlight. The Other was doing the same but looking out of a window.

2. Crafting doesn't make any sense to me. Well actual yes it does, but when I say it doesn't make any sense to me you can just grab a few scraps of metal and glass and BAM a Flashlight.

3. The Graphics look like 7 Days to Die. I have to mention this one even though most of the time I don't really care about graphics when it comes to games. It to me just LOOKS like a standard zombie survival game.

VERDICT: SHOULD YOU BUY THE GAME IF IT GETS ON STEAM
Yes and No. I suggest not buying it in Early Access (I never buy anything in Early Access.)
Wait until it gets into a more stable and later version before purchasing this item.
The game looks like something that I will play eventually, but I am going to wait until the game gets to be more developed and not a complete mess of unstable and glitches. Or if you think you would really enjoy this game no matter what version the game is, go ahead and buy it.
