My name is Trevor, and I'm currently working on a 2D action platformer where the main gimmick revolves around the player's ability to manipulate time. Currently, the game engine is (mostly) finished, including the more complex features, such as the ability for entities to get paused, slowed, rewound and other time effects. For a final project, I'm aiming for a story driven game, with pixel graphics, that's about four to eight hours in length. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no artistic talent, and I also have absolutely no money. I know you're just itching to give me your time for free, so I've started looking for anyone willing to help out. Currently, I'm looking for pixel artists and musicians, as well as concept artists. I'm hoping that I might be able to get a playable demo together, so I could launch a kickstarter or something similar, that way I can actually pay you, but that's honestly kind of a dream rather than goal.
I don't have any other requirements, other than you'll need to be able to keep in with the game's art style. I might be bringing on multiple artists, and I'd like the graphics to be consistent. Because I'm not paying anyone, I don't expect any level of commitment, and you don't need you to have any experience, but if you have a portfolio, that would be awesome.
If you're interested, or you know anyone who might be interested, send an email to email@example.com
If you have a portfolio, be sure to send it as well, but if you don't, then no worries.
