Greetings Everyone!
This is a position to be a part of a new indie group called Cup of Tea Games. We are a group of 6 dedicated college mates that have begun making a new game as a group together. We aim to make 2D games for the PC & Mac Platform utilizing the Unity 5 Engine.
We are open to anyone who wishes to join the group to create compelling games for everyone of all ages to enjoy! Our philosophy is to basically make good quality games that express the essence of the world around the player and to introduce them to vast and complete game.
Right now we have started a 2D game project that centers around a 2D character in which the player controls to navigate through a voxel world in which everything is destructable and craftable. Only difference between this engine and the conventional ones being that we aim to have a physics engine in which every block is affected by the laws of gravity in which makes the unique feel of a sandbox adventure.
We are looking for one of the following :
1.) Programmers
*Knows how to use and code any of the basic unity languages. (C# , JavaScript , BooScript)
*Can work with either : voxels, inventory, crafting, customization, enviroments
2.) Artists
*Can work with 2D digital art to implement in Unity
*Can make environments such as backgrounds and foregrounds.
*Can work with voxel art.
If you qualify for any of the following and show dedication to team groups then we are more than happy to have you on board!
Responsibility :
It is required for every member to be responsible enough to show dedication to the project. We have weekly group call meetings, daily to weekly tasks, utilize applications that manages our calendars, tasks, meetings, and general work flow. We have all the tools needed for a group project, including Version Control for our versions of Unity. So responsibility is the only factor everyone needs to have. Except for being a very charismatic person, of course!
