Alpha testers are being sought for Lunar Descent, a science-fiction adventure mod.
Lunar Descent is a single-player mod for Half-Life 2, set on a lunar colony. The mod’s gameplay focuses on exploration, scavenging for supplies and brutal enemy encounters. The levels are open and expansive, with supplies scattered around to reward exploring players. Enemies are tough: they will be able to take players down quickly making it important that players get the jump on their opponents and react to attacks quickly.
We aren’t looking for any specific kind of alpha tester, nor is previous experience in testing a requirement. Applicants should enjoy FPS games, preferably also enjoying FPSs with an adventure element to them. You will need a Steam account with Half-Life 2 installed and an internet connection.
We want alpha testers with a range of PC specs, within reason. If your computer is capable of running Half-Life 2, then we want to make sure Lunar Descent runs on your computer without issue. Currently, only the Windows version of Lunar Descent is being alpha tested (though if you are a Linux gamer, please feel free to apply as we are endeavouring to test a Linux build in the very near future).
