2D Artist job

I am currently looking for a skilled 2D artist for my 2D text based game; "A Song of Text and Commands" to produce small pieces of work and a large custom map we will need. You would be joining a team of two programmers and we will expect more people to join in the future.

We really are looking for someone who can happily create their own pieces of art whether it be digital or physical and scanned in based on small amounts of reference material and music for inspiration.
In terms of art style it can be completely up to you to decide, we do want to keep it within the medieval fantasy theme, but if we see an artist whose style seems consistent and fits our requirements then we will defiantly be interested in continuing the interview process.

As far as future payment or commission is concerned if you stay with us long enough the game you would be creating art for we plan to sell for a small amount so that anyone can play it (it will also have very low system requirements and work on Windows, Mac and Linux), so there will be money involved eventually if you are the type of person who is worried by that.
Both of the current developers are college students so we will understand if you have commitments too and can only dedicate a little of your time to the project.
