Whilst Section 8 is still relatively modern, It has been abandoned. The concept was brilliant, and it exceeded all expectations. Yet with more and more shooters coming out, its 15 minutes of fame were soon over. Online servers are no longer found, only the ranked servers, which often have a very bad connection.
The idea of Section 8, was to rid the concept of MP shooters of spawn points. It allowed the players to jump from orbit down onto the Battlefield where ever they please. Armour suits, Tanks aswell as turrets, supply depots and Radars could easily be purchased and deployed almost anywhere on the map, allowing for hundreds of devisable strategies. Gameplay was limited down to one mode, yet Section 8 needed no more.

This game was fun. I rented it awhile back and had allot of fun.
i remember my friends playing this once. they had their fun and made up anything just to keep going, but they saw that the band wagon was finished in a matter of hours and then gave up on this... any idea of the demo? i might get to it...
Should I upload the demo? it fits the group because it is so unknown and obscure now.
