Tiberian Sun: UMP (Unofficial Mini-Patch) is like a base for new mods, it fixes all known (fixable) bugs in Tiberian Sun. The UMP also implements all Firestorm features into Tiberian Sun, so rather than modding Firestorm, you can just mod Tiberian Sun instead. Before starting any Tiberian Sun mod, it is highly recommended that you begin with installing the UMP.

Tiberian Sun Bug Fixes/Additions:


- Fixed Nod War Factory anmation
- Fixed Silo animation
- Fixed Secondary Hand of Nod animation (Flashing pixels on the antenna)
- Fixed Secondary GDI Barracks animation (Flashing pixels on the antenna)
- Fixed several animations on the Civilian Array
- Fixed several GAPLUG animations
- Partially fixed Dam animations (Not completely fixed)
- Fixed Proton projectile animation
- Fixed Disc grenade animation
- Fixed Harvesting animation
- Fixed CANISTER palette issue
- Fixed Harvester Dumping animation
- Fixed Animation errors on GATECH
- Fixed Animation errors on NATECH
- Fixed GDI Radar damage Animations
- Fixed Nod Stealth Generator damage Animations
- Fixed Armor Upgrade Crate, now increases Strength instead of decreasing it

- GAKODK animation no longer shows through buildings
- NAWAST animation no longer shows through buildings

- ICBM PowerUp value fixed, changed to MLTIMISL
- Fixed VULCAN firing Animations on Mutants
- Removed TargetLaser=yes from Titan
- Titan FLH value fixed
- Added UMAGON Voiceover to MWMN Entry

The background in the picture is Twisted Insurrection, which I am the leader of. LoL.
No, the UMP does not contain anything from Twisted Insurrection or any other mods, it's just an unofficial patch for Tiberian Sun. I chose a TI shot for the background image because its supposed to show you that the UMP is a base for mods. Twisted Insurrection along with so many other good mods use the UMP.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, I don't see the fix for Artillery always hitting a target in Tiberium Sun (this was however fixed in firestorm), What happened was that an Artillery when it was fired manually at a unit,it would hit that unit no matter the speed, distance or anything else from that unit, did I miss it in the patch logs or is it an unknown fault?
Either way, nice to see some work being done on such a good game.

That was fixed in Tiberian Sun Patch 2.03, plus, if you're not satisfied with the Artillery, you could always modify it. :P

UMP does not include the Disruptor crash fix as it's an executable issue. You can (and I strongly recommend) download it from here: Ppmsite.com

It's possible that there will be more to come, it all depends on what other errors players and modders come across in Tiberian Sun. There are still plenty of bugs to be discovered, I'm sure.

I like it its a good improvement, my bases now feature a lightshow. you also fixed the crippled cyborg firing animation. i am especially glad about the nod weapon factory looking better and the damaged gdi radar being fixed.

i noticed that when a unit reaches the build limit its cameo no longer turns dark in the build bar. But thats a very minor thing.

conclusion: UMP gets thumbs up

The reason why other units don't darken when something is being built is because that effect causes a severe lag to occur in-game for most players. However, if you want to re-add it, just open the ECACHEXX.mix that UMP comes with and delete darken.shp.
