This is a group for all of the Star Wars role-players on Mod DB to post their imaginary fleets for future battles.

Post news Report RSS The Karax Rogues

My new, ragtag fleet, created from the ruins of what was once the Gray Jedi fleet, the majority of which has gone into hiding. With no affiliations, I have decided to work with Ten and keep the galaxy in balance. And this fleet is what I shall use...

The Advent of Justice
The Advent of Justice My new flagship. The Advent of Justice is essentially the strongest elements of the Belleraphon and the Agamemnon wrapped up in an enlarged Venator-class Star Destroyer. The ship is about four kilometers long, but extremely agile despite this size. It has many weapons, but a small fighter complement. Its shields are durable and triple-layered and it has the Belleraphon's powerful stealth systems. It also incorporates the Agamemnon's mine launchers. The two hangar bays on the side do not contain fighters but instead contain fifteen modified SPHA tanks each. They are extremely powerful, especially when fired together. However, their ammunition is limited at best, and they cannot fire excessively without reload.

Armament:
-100-yottawatt very heavy turbobeam cannons (4)
-500-teraton very heavy turbolaser batteries (8)
500-exawatt SPHA batteries (30)
-250-teraton heavy turbolaser batteries (15)
-40-teraton turbolaser batteries (20)

Defenses:
-200-gigaton medium turbolaser batteries (25)
-Internal hangar bay defense grid (1)
-Internal hallway defense grid (1)
-Defense droids (varying models)
-Heavy ray shields (overlapping)
-Heavy particle shields (overlapping)
-Heavy ion shields (overlapping)*
-Advanced electronic warfare suite (1)
-Stealth systems

The Olympus
The Olympus
A new ship and my primary carrier. The Olympus is a "liberated" Revenge-class Imperial assault carrier. After it was "liberated" from the Empire, the ship was taken to a remote Gray Jedi shipyard where it was disassembled, studied, modified, and reassembled with a greater emphasis on anti-fighter weapons and fighter complement. It possesses enough fighters to easily overwhelm almost any single vessel.

Armament:
-50-teraton turbolasers (10)
-200mm mass driver cannons (15)
-400-teraton missile silos (2 missile tubes each) (15)

Defenses:
-200-gigaton medium point-defense turbolasers (90)
-600-megaton light point-defense turbolasers (105)
-Internal hangar bay defense grid (1)
-Internal hallway defense grid (1)
-Defense droids (varying models)
-Heavy ray shields (overlapping)
-Heavy particle shields (overlapping)
-Heavy ion shields (overlapping)*
-Advanced electronic warfare suite (1)

Fighter Complement:
-Dragoon Mk. II-class fighter/bombers (150)
-Talon-class assault fighters (50)
-Invictus-class heavy fighters (50)
-Dagger-class interceptors (200)
-Hornet-class bombers (150)

The crew of the Olympus is moderately experienced. It is mainly composed of smugglers and rogues, kept in-line by former Imperial officers that assisted with the original capture of the vessel. They are competent, but they are however the least competent crew of the three capital ships.

Velox Attack Group
Saber 1
The Velox attack group is a strike force consisting of three heavily upgraded Saber-class monitors. They are faster, more maneuverable, and more powerful than a regular Saber, and they have sensor-stealth technology (but they lack visual stealth technology). Each of them has a powerful hyperdrive that can warm-up in seconds, even when weapons are firing. The ships can jump and jump again in under thirty seconds.

Armament (per ship):
-950-zettawatt unidirectional very heavy turbobeam cannon (1)
-775-teraton unidirectional turbolaser cannons (2)
-50-gigaton unidirectional anti-fighter cannons (4)

Defenses (per ship):
-Internal hallway defense grid (1)
-Defense droids (varying models)
-Light ray shields (overlapping)
-Light particle shields (overlapping)
-Light ion shields (overlapping)*
-Sensor-stealth system (1)
-Advanced electronic warfare suite (1)

The crews of the three Sabers are all veterans of combat, and they have survived countless battles. They are some of the most experienced crew members in the fleet, and should never be underestimated.

Raven Squadron
Dragoon-class Fighter/bomber
A squadron of 15 Dragoon Mk. II fighter/bombers. They are very experienced and have been with my fleet ever since its original inception. They are upgraded and have more firepower, durability, and maneuverability. The pilots are ace combat veterans and are some of the best in the galaxy.

Armament (per fighter):
-50mm unidirectional mass accelerator cannons (2)
-135mm unidirectional mass accelerator cannon (1)
-Unidirectional heavy pulse laser cannons (4)
-15cm missile pods (varying missile types) (4)

Defenses (per fighter):
-Heavy fighter ray shields
-Heavy fighter particle shields
-Heavy fighter ion shields*
-Sensor-stealth system (1)
-Advanced electronic warfare suite (1)

The pilots of Raven Squadron are veterans and masterful pilots. They can easily fly circles around many fighters, and the fact that the Dragoons are as powerful as they are only aids their effectiveness.

The Predator
The Predator
My personal starfighter. The Predator has visual and sensor stealth systems, impressive maneuverability and speed, and heavy shielding. However, it has a light armament. Mainly used for scouting and escape.

Armament:
-50mm mass accelerator cannons (2)

Defenses:
-Heavy fighter ray shields
-Heavy fighter particle shields
-Heavy fighter ion shields*
-Visual-stealth system (1)
-Sensor-stealth system (1)
-Electronic warfare suite

The fighter is a one-of-a-kind prototype. It is hyperdrive equipped, but it usually rests aboard the Shadow Wing.

The Shadow Wing
The Shadow Wing
My personal corvette. It has some of the most advanced stealth systems in the galaxy. In addition, it has six powerful ion engines, a powerful hyperdrive, dozens of maneuvering thrusters, and heavy shielding, in addition to a powerful weapons payload.

Armament:
-Swiveling beam turrets (4)
-Swiveling pulse cannons (10)
-Unidirectional proton torpedo launchers (6)
-135mm unidirectional mass accelerator cannons (2)
-Radar-guided 96cm warhead launchers (2)

Defenses:
-Internal defense grid (1)
-Medium ray shields (overlapping)
-Medium particle shields (overlapping)
-Medium ion shields (overlapping)
-Advanced visual-stealth system (1)
-Advanced sensor-stealth system (1)

The Shadow Wing is a powerful vessel, and is basically my "Ebon Hawk" that I will use to fly across the galaxy. It is an extremely fast ship, both in and out of hyperspace. The crew is composed of 4 other members, each highly skilled and hand-picked. Each crew member is an extremely accomplished warrior, both in the cockpit of a starfighter and out.

*For balance purposes, ion shields will be depleted after absorbing a powerful volley of ion cannon shots. For example, an ion blast from a Subjugator will deplete heavy ion shielding, but will cause no ill effects to the ship itself. After that, the ion shield must take time to recharge, and the ship is vulnerable to ion attacks in this time. Also, unless the ion shields are depleted, ion cannons on the ship using the ion shield cannot be used.

And for the Mandalorians asking why these ships weren't destroyed at Malachor V, I've got PM proof that they were never sent into battle ^_^

No I am just wondering how a ship 1/3rd the size of the Valiance can still have nearly enough firepower to destroy a SSD while you said the same thing for the Valiance <_< but I don't really care I thought I would just warn you since when Adenn discovers and reads this page he will freak out "How did you get those ships your a pirate!"

Lol no offence Adenn but that's the reputation you got around here xD

Ikr? I guess it's fair enough that he gets a at least one powerful ship to form the center of his fleet. It is after all pretty small compared to others.

Meh. I will leave the this to the Mandoes, but I will say that the 'Advanced' Stealth systems won't fool our Anti-stealth measures as they measure the gravitational pull abnormalities that ships create. That one of the laws of physics that not even star wars would dare messing with xD

You use Crystal Grav Traps, don't you? Those only measure the emissions given off by the most COMMON model of cloaking device. There ARE other types, some of which give off no emissions for the CGT to track.

Sorry, I take it back. Just read more on the CGT. However, you can't have them on every planet. They're rare and expensive. Like on the order of Capital-ship expensive.

I have already consulted the GMs' they agreed on it. Yes they was rare back then. But if we can have Imperious Class in numbers (which was a prototype many years after than the first mention of the CGT), then why not CGT's? We also began contruction 2 months ago. That is along time in RP. It isn't something that appeared out of nowhere :P

The stealth systems cannot fool planetary sensors. That much I will say.

Ori, I think I probably exaggerated, but it is almost as large as a Super Star Destroyer. Against an SSD, the Belleraphon would lose, but the SSD would still take some damage in the fight.

Again, none of these ships were ever at Malachor V, which is the reason they are intact.

Thanks for clearing that up Aaron. I wasn't nit picking I am not really interested in whether or not your fleet has unbeatably ships, there are plenty of people who take that burden from me.
But for their sake I will ask this question:
How are you funding them?
(E.G. Maintenance, Repairs and Crew)

Well...:

1) I managed to ammass a large amount of resources and credits before leaving my Empire, though that won`t last for long it will last long enough.

2) We are pirates. We loot, plunder and kill any in our way.

3) We get funding from the people who want the Galaxy kept in balance. Though not enough to build a large fleet from scratch, it is enough to make sure our fleet stay in top notch condition.

Yeah, basically what Ten said. I'm also thinking about developing a new line of ships (not uber) and selling them off to whoever can pay, which will also help to give us funds...

Oke this one is me talking, how can you create ships and sell them when your a pirate? This isn't POTC New Horizons! You could however have the designs for sale at one large price.

Actually, a pirate could have a business as a front for more funds. Part of it is that I just want to get into the shipbuilding business :P

A remote (but rather small) shipyard (and perhaps a few more around the main) could create ships (not at an extremely fast rate, of course). If I am going to create a business, all fees would have to be paid in advanced so that the proper resources to create the ships could be obtained and the ship created. And the leftover money goes toward making sure our current fleets don't fall apart :P

A clever system, and one that works well.

Plus Ori: We don`t have large fleets. Our fleets have a limit of 10 ships, though those ships are useally pretty powerful overall thanks to the leftover credits normally spent on buying new ships, we upgrade our ships with them. Quality over Quantity xD.

this is just so stupid. no other words for it(not your fleet)

i mean the fact that your pirates. i will be the GM and leave the rp if i have to but god its just sooooo stupid to have players as the GMs and getting ships out of thin air

Ori: idc what people think of me, ive gotten used to it after 17 years of being difrent.

These ships didn't appear out of thin air xD

As I have already posted, these ships are survivors of Malachor V and have, for the most part, been with my fleet for a while. The Olympus was not, mainly because it was still being constructed, but it was still in existence. These ships were all never at Malachor V. I've got PM proof of at least that much.
