This group is for all the musicians at ModDB. I place to show off their work and to discuss music. You could also ask for help for a song or give suggestions to one another. If you are requesting help for a mod or game, PM me and I can relay the message on the news/blog. This way people don't get mass e-mailed :). I don't know what else to say so have fun!

Description

This is a meticulously sequenced electro-acoustic piece written by The Simian

Hosted by imgur.com
Asymmetrical Pyramid Sequence:
I used an assortment of VSTs and hacked electronic gear as well as
appropriated samples. The primary sequencer is Digital Performer.

Main Instruments:
Nord Micromodular
Absynthe
Battery 3
Mx4
Max/Msp
Proton

I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

I really like it. I have to say that due to this I've been looking into battery 3 and a couple new plugins to give some variation to some of my own songs. I love the sound. I'm a silent hill fanatic amd though I know this song doesn't entirely fit the category the guitar has some familier sounds from the filters Akira uses on his. Very nice!

Thanks! I spent a long time on this particular sequence.

In a bit I am thinking of posting some more material from the Flesh soundtrack I've been working on.
