Michael Shanks suggests that more Stargate movies won't be made.

Michael Shanks has stated that "...we might be very far away from, if ever, doing another DVD movie." due to the "amount of time lag that's gone on between us doing the movies.". The first official Stargate game: Stargate Resistance was released on February 10. It is a 3rd person shooter based around battles between the Tau'ri and Goa'uld. Stargate Resistance is available from Direct2Drive and Steam. With an additional "Advanced Combat Pack" add-on available from Direct2Drive.

Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment bankruptcy protection.

Shortly after the release of Stargate Resistance, it was announced that Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment (CME) had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on February 12. However, it was later revealed that CME's (now former) CEO Gary Whiting had filed for bankruptcy. A civil case against Whiting for damages against CME and CMG is underway. Some sources state that the Chapter 11 filing has been rejected, however there has been no official announcement.

Even with the Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, CME will continue to operate and develop the upcoming Stargate Worlds MMORPG. For more: read, read, read and read.
