- For the first time, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is made available for download on the PC. Sony released a PSone classics version for the PSP, but this game has not seen a PC version since it's original PC release more than 12 years ago. Many of us thought Square/Eidos had closed the distribution on past Legacy of Kain games, but since the rise of digital downloads for the PC, like Steam, Soul Reaver has arisen in a new re-optimization for Windows XP, Vista and 7. Good Old Games has been the first to pick up the distribution on this new port. According to both Steam and GOG, any old games which they sell in their digital marketplace are all Windows XP/Vista and 7 compatible as they have been re-optimized. It's available for $5.99 here. A gameplay is available here.
