an
idea i have is one for speed/CPU geared VR-Units is a "double"
holographic projection which is done by either hacking the opponent's
VUI or creating a "real" holographic projection which acts on its own.
in the first instance, the double-fake is a mirrored image of the
player which is seen by the opponent to confuse them, generated at a
point between the opponent and player is a "mirror-point" which states
the area in where the player first generated the image-copy and at what
angle the opponent was facing (well, perhaps it should remain at a
global angle relative to the opponent player's global position). the
mirror-copy does exactly what the player does, only in the opposite
direction. since i believe this mirror image would actually (as far as
in-game environment goes) be a result of the opponent's visual systems
being hacked, and the player's CPU enabled weapon systems would be
penalized if not at all disabled (e.g. reduced damage, slower lock-on
while in "double" mode). the alternative version of this double is
generally composed of a full-fledged hologram, which involves no CPU
hacking or consumption, and includes an independent CPU system of it's
own, for the life of the hologram. there will be noticeable, but
subtle, differences visually which will allow the opponent the
opportunity to recognise that the current target is a fake. also,
perhaps there could be CPU or VUI system implements which help identify
when a "double" or holographic clone has been generated. but that,
along with many other possible features, are what i am thinking.
this should include _GEAR for _type-VRunit.
RAW-type
VUI system gear is naturally immune as it is less dependent on
sensor-based systems. though easier to hack, much less efficiency in
hack-manipulation as the system relies solely on crude optics. im
thinking to call this a Field Tactical Assault-class weapon/gear set.
or "Assault" for short.

upgrades, and high-energy generator capacity; less weapon configuration
- all which enables the ability for effective Zero-G combat, or to
fight entire battles in the air)
Optional/Custom-type (self-made,
garage-built VR units which have chassis and structure types mixed
unlike any of the Basic classes, or which do not equal Special class
combo structures)
