The new version polishes Windows 7 compatibility and improves on the OPL, CDROM and video emulation further.

DOSBox 0.74 has been released!

Most noticeable changes:

  • VGA mode improvements and fixes
  • Windows 7 compatibility improvements
  • Old OPL cores have been ditched as they are obsolete
  • Sound Blaster and Game Blaster detection fixes
  • Default sample rate for sound is now 44100Hz
  • CDROM emulation improvements
  • More other stuff
