We have released the 0.903 patch for Zombasite. This patch greatly reduces multiplayer lag, fixes hunting parties not working sometimes, fixes some characters taking longer for skills than they should, fixes a few crashes, and fixes a bunch of other minor issues.

We have released the 0.903 patch for Zombasite. This patch greatly reduces multiplayer lag, fixes hunting parties not working sometimes, fixes some characters taking longer for skills than they should, fixes a few crashes, and fixes a bunch of other minor issues.

Here's all of the changes for patch 0.903.

  • now player covenant & recruits use delta compression (reduces needed bandwidth a lot) (Etto)
  • fixed hunting parties sometimes coming back with no food
  • fixed a problem making some characters stand still too long after using a skill (Oblivion)
  • fixed relations screen crashing on client (Schappelijk/Enternight)
  • fixed a crash in Game::clearTreaties
  • fixed one of the crafting items not working correctly
  • fixed gem slots not showing up on weapons
  • now can invite conjurors that have pets to your party (ScrObot)
  • fixed a few issues with food usage per hour (Oblivion/Tuidjy)
  • changed MoveSpeedMult back to 1.0
  • now when player has full stamina they sprint (25% faster than normal movement)
  • fixed getRandomGuard not always returning a valid guard, so spawning less guard items (ScrObot)
  • now space out connect messages fragments a little so clogs the network less
  • now server backs off network bandwidth some if the client gets too far behind in acks
  • changed network protocol version to 32
  • made navigating clan quests/trading a little easier with new buttons
  • town attack sound gets quieter after first time playing
  • now show crafting bonus on crafting icon highlight
  • now crafting highlight text shows your current general cost
  • fixed some NPCs getting free XP when crafting fails
  • now show percent compared to normal for crafting a specific item
  • added Path of the Demon achievement (ScrObot)
  • fixed getting a resurrect timing bar when killed during a raid (ScrObot)
  • guards no longer turn away from center of town when they have an enemy
  • decreased amount of monsters in empty towns (Throwback)
  • using the function keys to give party members health potions will now use the highest level potion that target can actually use (Oblivion/Caal)
  • improved monster icons
  • fixed pets of your NPCs not keeping up
  • fixed alignment of warhammers (DanSota)
  • shortened lethal blow total time from 1.43 to 1.2 and changed to an animation with less down time at end
  • shortened death blow total time from 1.61 to 1.2 and changed to an animation with less down time at end
  • can no longer salvage equipped items (alstein)
  • treasure map quests are now optional (Tuidjy)
  • increased SO_RCVBUF and SO_SNDBUF size and made power of 2
  • improved crafting screen highlight a little
  • organized items list on trade list better
  • decreased female zombie imp SelectSizeMult from 1.0 to 0.75
  • fixed wording on turning of help (Tuidjy)
  • fixed wording on win/lose button highlights (Tyakraman)
