A year after making a game, called bound, the weekend my great grandmother passed away I have taken that experience to create a stylized arcade version called Ultra Bound. The game is meant to be colorful and fun to look at, while also paying tribute to games of old like Defender and their contemporaries such as Super Hexagon. Ultra Bound has little to do with it's predecessor except that it shares the same head space. Ultimately however, Ultra Bound is about serenity in a hectic area and being able to weave and bob through obstacles that are as visually appealing as they are detrimental to your success. Ultra Bound is an experiment to see what can be done with simple design and minimal human crafted graphics. Hopefully, people find it as enjoyable as I do!
