This is a compiled AHK-Script with a user interface. You can use it to create backups of legendary campaigns simply by pressing a button or hotkey.

This script will always keep the last 20 backups and replace older ones with newer ones, this will save disk space.
You can change the number of backups, used in the save cycle, in the ini file. (20 by default)
You can also create locked backups, not be overwritten by the backup cycle. (see below)
Important:
- Must be run as Administrator.
- The GUI stays at the top of your screen, it works in full screen mode, but I recommend using windowed mode.
- Will work for all supported languages, however, do not change the language, as SaveScummer will only search for backups in the currently selected language. For example, SaveScummer won't recognise german Backup saves files while playing in english and vice versa.
Button Explanation:
'Save' - As expected, will create a backup. you can name your backup, eg. "Turn 10" or leave the field empty and SaveScummer will create a name by date.
'Del' - will delete the latest Backup. you can use this button to clear the entire list, so beware of how often you press the button.
'Restore latest' - will restore the latest backup, if you want a specific backup to be restored, chose it from the drop-down list.
'Rescan' - The Script will automatically scan on start up, use this to scan for new campaigns afterwards.
Note: If you delete save file of your campaign in-game, SaveScummer will also delete all associated backups on start-up or when you press 'Rescan'.

How to create locked Backups:
Locked backups are not overwritten by the save cycle, so if you want a backup permanently use this method. Only use this when making big decisions, the standard method is usually sufficient enough.
Example:
"Turn 10" then 'Save' will create a named Backup, but it will be overwritten once the max amount is passed.
Use Hashtag to create a locked backup e.g.
"#Turn 10" than 'Save' <- this Backup cannot be overwritten by the cycle.
You can have as many locked backups as you want, but keep in mind that each backup is about 10MB in size.
How to delete specific backups:
Just type in the name of the backup and press 'Del' e.g.
"Turn 10" than 'Del' will delete the Backup named "Turn 10"
"#Turn 10" than 'Del' will delete the locked Backup named "#Turn 10"
"30.10.22 - 16:51:19" will delete the automatically named backup "30.10.22 - 16:51:19"
Commands:
If you type in "----" than Del: Will delete all Backups of the selected Campaign.
If you type in "---#" than Del: Will delete all locked Backups of the selected Campaign.
If you type in "FOLDER" than Del/Save, will open the save Folder.
If you type in "DELETE" than Del, will delete the Backup folder and all Backups regardless of selected Campaign. (will ask you before deleting)

Change the GUI size, value must be float.
'MaxBackupFiles=1' =min.

default = 20
Changes the max number of cycle backups, value must be digit.
