Right, first of all youve probably noticed the missing news lately, well thats because there hasnt been much to say other than, Im working on it.
The next thing is that the webs server I was on is now not going with what they said would happen at all, in fact the majority of what I expected from a paid hosting service were not there, including a lot of things I require to make this game work well. This has made me decide to ressurect my desktop computer and install Ubuntu (linux, instead of windows) and I will host this site from my home now.
But before I can do that I need to get it ready to work with the site, which, since I have never used linux before, is proving rather difficult, most of the terms that are reffered to I dont understand and when following step by step instructions theres an error always.
On other news I have managed to fix the login problem! I think, it seems to be working the way it should for now anyway. There is also the addition of equiping weapons and armour, which I will work on a little more when the site is running.
And for anyone old enough to remember the playstation game, Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus, I have a surprise when the site is back up and running. I wont say anything more than that it will be a side-project.
