Slender PSP is a port/clone of the hit PC indie game, Slender. Slender PSP has very little story, mainly simple, all you must do is collect 8 pages, before Slenderman finds you! With only a flashlight, will you survive?
This game has potential, and lots of it. As we can see where the developers were going, albeit they nearly failed to get there.
The main factors of the game, Slenderman, a Flashlight, and the Pages are here, but they are all done wrong.
Slenderman slides around, Does not teleport, and will almost always just pop up to be annoying. The flashlight could of been done much, much better, as it glitches up, rarely shows up at all, and does not illuminate as much as it should. The maps are small as all hell and easy to complete, along with the fact that pages are never randomized, and they are all the same.
Although there are several flaws within this game, it still has several redeeming qualities hidden within it. Puzzles hidden throughout some of the levels feel rewarding to complete, although they are very easy and short. I felt very happy to see that I escaped Slenderman in the Quartal section of Hollywood, although all I won was a simple page.
Fouad, if he does have anything to do with the development of this project, Should know that more needed to be done. If the rumors are true that this game was done overnight, then it would make much more sense.
Although not entirely scary, or living up to its expectations, Slender PSP still has enough good in it to make an average game
