Should Shoot is a modern version of a 2D top down shooter that has you shoot a friend anywhere and at any time on one mobile device. Gameplay is simple: players tap anywhere on the screen to appear at that position in the game. Tapping somewhere else will ‘teleport' your round avatar to that position immediately. This is handy for dodging incoming fire. Players can drag and release to shoot: it’s similar to controlling a catapult. There’s an ammo limit of 5 and when it’s depleted players will have to keep still (leaving you vulnerable) to reload. Combat feels precise and accurate and it’s hard to imagine something so simple can result in exhilarating matches. There are three multiplayer modes which should be enough to keep you and your friends engaged for at least a couple of hours. You can even compete by setting a highscore in either of the two single player modes. By completing several challenges across all modes players can unlock new color palettes and backgrounds.
