Welcome to our another Puzzle Masters Weekly Updates issue. In this week there were some very important design and mechanic system changes. Firstly we got rid of mana, it is now replaced with energy which is used to boost our skills. If you gather maximum charges of energy, you can spend it on amplifying next spell damage. Since spells will cost no mana (because there is no mana in Puzzle Masters) using a spell or moving a line will cost action points. Those points will be back up to the maximum number in the very next turn. Each character has it’s own attack speed (it’s regular attack’s AP cost), AP pool and each spell has also it’s own different AP cost.
Besides we worked on more characters’ skills (we are finishing up on Priest), some lacking AI, effects and shitload of bug fixes. Also two days ago our visual artist, Toxotes, finally sent us some of the final assets and since then we have been working non-stop until now to implement these graphics and get it working properly.
