Hey everybody! I know we aren't quick with our news updates but we try to make sure that each time we post news that we make it count. With this post, we are packing it with loads of information you need to know! Trust us, it's worth the read! With this update we want to go over a few things with what is going on with our team, the game and we also have another little gift for you guys.
The Losses - So, we're going to give you the bad news first. Just like a band-aid lets get it over with quick. We have lost quite a few people. Some have moved on to better things while most have just disappeared. We have lost both of our Environment Concept Artists, Izaak Moody and Vadim Marchenkov. This puts us in a rough spot as far as concepts goes. We still have our amazing Character Concept Artist, Jesus De Leon though.
We also had some scheduling issues with the 2 environment artists we were testing. They both got drafted up into the industry and had to depart. Again, that puts us in a rough spot as we now are still with only 2 environment artists and they is much work left to be done!
The Gains - Ok, now onto the good news! We have acquired some incredibly talented and very much needed people! First things first, our programming situation. We have acquired four, yes you read it right, four programmers. Not only that, but these programmers have at least twenty years of programming experience between the four of them. They know what they are doing and they are going to make this the best experience they possibly can. We were also able to bring on a fantastic animator! This guy has worked on movies before and really knows his animation.
Now the big news. We recently brought on a composer. Not just any composer though. We have joined forces with Hollywood Composer Andrew Prahlow! Andrew's talent is beyond what we could have asked for. Andrew works for Jeremy Zuckerman and Benjamin Wynn to help write the score for Kung Fu Panda: The Legends of Awesomeness and The Last Airbender: The Legend of Korra, and previously worked for the composer John Powell, known for the Bourne series, Shrek and How to Train Your Dragon.
We have spots open all over the team for anyone who is interested in applying. We're always looking for talent over here at Molotov. Let us know if you believe you could fill one of the spots below. Send your resume and portfolio to firstname.lastname@example.org
