You have the task of finding the hidden heir to a throne that sits empty. Tamriel's previous emperor has been slain, and with no true ruler the gates to Oblivion open and demons begin to invade the people and towns of the empire. It's up to you to find the lost heir to the throne and unravel the sinister plot that threatens to destroy all of Tamriel.

A game with size, yet for being so massive, honestly failed to prove it's depth to me. There is a vague story, but you don't even need to technically follow it. Unrealism abounds more than I expected, and the progression system left me wondering what I was even aiming for.

I like to know where I'm headed in a story. Dragon Age II (from what I've seen and experienced) has more direction than what I experienced here.

Also, I should be able to break down a door every one and a while. Making me have to run over all of this fantasy world to find lockpicks is not a fun gameplay mechanic, it's a pain in the arse. Also, guards from the other side of the map shouldn't know about a murder you committed on the aforementioned other side of their world. Word of mouth doesn't travel -that- fast.
