A demo of my upcoming html5/php mud game. There are two scripts, one socket script that runs with php cli, and one script that communicates with the php socket to get responses for the html5 client. Now each update takes 0.0016 seconds with this method in a shared host, without the worries I had with the prior approach, so, it means 625 updates / sec, the client only needs one update per sec. I also updated the html5 client, so its bigger and a little cute.
