Ernie vs Evil is our tower defense style shooter. Hordes of enemies rush across the screen while you shoot them down with a large variety of weapons, magical and traditional.
We have 20 plus different types of enemies planned from the mutated towns folk to unholy squid faced priests. You will be battling them with multiple weapons that can be switched on the fly.
The thing that sets E.v.E apart from other shooters is the gun mechanic. Firing any gun recklessly changes how the bullets perform. An example is the shotgun spread and range decreases the faster it's used. On the other hand if the weapons are used properly then you get rewarded with more ammo and less of a decrease in weapons efficiency. We want our monster murdering to be a bit more precise and accurate.
We're in pre-alpha right now so we're looking at around 24 levels in the final game.
