First of all, sorry for the delay, i originally intended to post this 3 days ago but i couldn't write the things down as i wanted.
So, second of all,
maybe the team will grow, I'm in contact with two people which may be willing to help me with the development, one of them worked on an hacking-sim before and either helps me coding or helps me with what should get in the game or not.
The other one has major experience in development and work with big companies on software development.Ok so much to this topic.
Third part.
I've started to redo the whole MMO thing of the game, at first I thought that an API would be enough but when it comes to PVP it's not good enough so I have to write a real server-side program to handle everything.
Since the server runs on Linux this could be quiet difficult since I only programmed for Windows until now, but will see.
Worst Case I have to learn Java, best case I can write the server code with MONO.
Last thing, the roadmap.
I made a roadmap so I have times when which state of the game is going to be ready, so alpha, beta, final.
My plan is to release a offline-version with limited features late April so you people can make a picture of what direction this game is going.
After that, I hope between Summer and Fall there is going to be the alpha release with first online features.
Winter / Late Winter I want to get to beta, so most features will be deployed in this state and when everything works out as planed Final release will be Spring next year.
Between every state there will be bugfixes and little updates for features, excluded beta where there will be big updates so new features get integrated and obsolete will be thrown out.
Last Last Thing. In the coming days / week/s I'm going to setup a forum so everyone who wants to help development can help, with ideas, graphics and so on.
Ok C-OS out.
