Helmet and Jockey Cap of Montefortino Type C

Helmet and Jockey Cap of Montefortino Type C

This is the classic helmet associated with the Republican period. Originally of Celtic design, the Montefortino quickly found its way into usage in the legions of the Roman Republic. Caesar’s legions might have worn a mix of Montefortino and early Coolus helmets as they invaded Gaul and then advanced on Rome during the Civil Wars. The Montefortino’s usage lasted even as late as the civil war of 69 AD. Jockey Cap of Montefortion is just helmet without cheek guards. During Gallic War legionary could wear Montefortino Type C-F and Coolus Type A-B.

It will be 100% free game.

Torabi Jun 6 2010, 8:19am replied:

Wait, why are you complaining? They just switched to a better engine that is much stronger than source, which gives greater possibilities and the game gets more accessible since everyone can download it. Unlike with Source where you need to own a source game.
Seriously, there is no logic behind your post.

I think it's great that they have moved. Good job and don't always listen to what people say!

Will it be stand-alone or will it require Crysis 2? Keep up the great work. Ciao

It's UDK, that means there are no games required to play.

I've got Crysis, but I have no idea how to install a mod for it, so I'll still be tracking, but I will never be playing it.

Wish you best luck and congratulations for choosing the CryEngine 2 =)
Did you know that the SDK works fully with the free Demo of Crysis Wars as well? So if you are looking for developers they even don't have to buy the full game.

CryEngine 2 is cool. But really it would have been better to switch to the UDK. Good luck though.

I don't see why people are complaining about Crysis or Cryengine when it blatantly says UDK at the top of the post? Still tracking, cool modelling although I don't know why, the texture seems a bit un-metal like.. may just be me.

Uh? Why does everyone whine about not having Crysis when the post clarely states that you're moving to the FREE GAME-INDEPENDENT UDK-ENGINE?
You don't ******* need Crysis or any other game to play a stand-alone UDK title... I thought most MODB'rs knew as much:Z

Yeah great ;-)

There will be more people tracking you now though...

... but I think you should not only declare it as a game, you should also change your profile, so this page will be seen on the games list =)
